SixtySecs needed a broadcast-quality YouTube intro built around a brand that had no website, no UI assets, and no clear brief.

THE PROBLEM

The client knew what they wanted to move away from but could not describe what they wanted to move toward. A Dropbox folder of 4K footage files, a logo, and a blurry existing intro were the only assets. No staging site. No brand system. No design files. The design direction arrived as we are pretty open and a reference reel sent after the second version had already been delivered.

THE BUILD

The brand's entire visual UI was built from scratch in After Effects. Not browser chrome. Not a simulated window. Brand marks, content tiles, and typographic components designed and animated as a system, populating into frame through staggered easing as the camera moved through the composition.

The client's voiceover was pre-recorded before the project began. Written and produced independently of the visual direction. Rather than fight the audio, the motion was timed to it. The VO became a pacing instrument, not a content guide. The visuals carried the narrative while the audio ran alongside it.

4 versions. A brief that sharpened with each round. By V4, the client had found the language to describe what they had wanted from the start.

THE RESULT

We are extremely happy with the outcome.
