THE PROBLEM
The brief arrived with 3 assets: a live URL, a PNG logo, and an HTML dashboard. No motion assets. No storyboard. Just a product that worked and a 30-second window to show it.
THE BUILD
The HTML dashboard became the source document. Every component rebuilt as a vector shape layer in After Effects: the booking card, the calendar grid, the confirmation state. Color tokens extracted from the live site. Layout reconstructed from DOM inspection. No Figma file existed. The design system was reverse-engineered from the product itself.
Voiceover was written and produced as part of the build. Motion timing was built around the script's attention windows. The product's core flow visible within the first 8 seconds, confirmation state resolved by second 25. The brief said 30 seconds. The build needed 38 to breathe correctly.
THE RESULT
38 seconds. First response from the client: "Awesome, can you do a vertical one too?"
