Terms of Service.

Render builds UI motion systems and conversion renders for SaaS products. All work is performed remotely by a dedicated motion engineer.

These Terms of Service apply to all projects commissioned through renderstudio.dev. They form a binding agreement between Render (the service provider) and the client upon deposit payment.

Render agrees to deliver the motion assets described in the build specification issued alongside the project agreement. The scope is fixed at the build specification. Changes to scope after build commencement are subject to a revised agreement and additional fees.

All projects are priced at a flat rate. The total investment is confirmed during technical intake and documented in the project agreement. There are no hidden fees or hourly billing.

A 50% deposit is due before work begins. The remaining 50% balance is due upon delivery notification and before source files are transferred. Payment is accepted via bank transfer or digital payment.

Invoices unpaid after 14 days incur a 5% monthly late fee. Render reserves the right to withhold deliverables until full payment is received.

All rights to the delivered work transfer to the client in full upon receipt of final payment. Work in progress and unpaid deliverables remain the property of Render.

Render retains the right to display the completed work in its portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless the client requests confidentiality in writing prior to project start.

On full payment, the client receives: final render files (MP4, H.264), After Effects source files (.aep), motion system documentation, and web-optimised versions.

Lottie export and ProRes master files are available on request and may be subject to additional fees. All files are delivered via secure transfer link within 48 hours of balance payment confirmation.

2 rounds of revisions are included in every project. A revision round is defined as one consolidated set of feedback addressed in a single pass. Feedback must be submitted in writing.

Additional revision rounds are billed at $200 each. Revisions that materially change the approved direction or scope are treated as new work and quoted separately.

If the client cancels after build has begun, the deposit is forfeited. If Render is unable to complete the project for any reason, a pro-rated refund of the deposit will be issued based on work completed to date.

Either party may terminate with 7 days written notice.

The client agrees to provide all required assets (design files, brand assets, written briefs) within 5 business days of deposit payment.

Delays in asset delivery extend the timeline proportionally and do not entitle the client to a refund or modified payment schedule. The client confirms they own or have rights to all assets provided.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information, trade secrets, or non-public business details shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination of this agreement.

Render's total liability under any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for that project. Render is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

The client acknowledges that Render provides motion design services only and is not responsible for the performance, security, or uptime of the client's product or platform.

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before either party pursues formal proceedings.
